Our products of the month for July have been chosen to offer new ideas for any new design or furniture projects you might be working on.
This month we'd like to highlight three very different types of newly launched products including the Calvert modular furniture system from Sixteen3, the Grape lighting collection from Bolia and the Note mobile whiteboard from Lintex.
Firstly, we have a new modular system from Sixteen3:
Inspired by Calvert Vaux, the mastermind behind New York’s Central Park, this modular system allows you to break up spaces to create areas to focus, collaborate, relax and inspire. Steel frame walls, available in three heights, act as room dividers, with the louvre-style grid pattern diffusing visibility between areas without creating a definite wall.
Accessories, such as display cubes, shelves, AV boxes, dry-wipe surfaces and upholstered panels, along with benches and desk surfaces, can be incorporated to add flexible functionality. Infinitely scalable, the system can grow, adapt and be reconfigured as spaces evolve and can be used to create landscapes from simple partitions to all-encompassing ‘room-within-a-room’ environments. Powder coated steel frames combine with natural birch plywood elements.
Our second range of products is a is a lighting collection that is part of the new expanded Steelcase x Bolia range:
The Grape collection was designed by talented Norwegian design duo Morten & Jonas. They have designed an expressive lamp, which creates beautiful light in all its simplicity. The collection is available in pendant, wall lamp, floor lamp and table lamp formats and all come with a five-year warranty.
The third product we wanted to highlight this month is a new and versatile mobile whiteboard solution from Lintex:
Note is a writing board that is both mobile and fixed. The board is double sided, with two magnetic ceramic steel surfaces. Note is manufactured with a lightweight core that makes it light enough to carry around. It can easily be hung using the included bracket or used leaning against a wall for spontaneous meetings. Perfect for collaboration areas.
