Creating a flexible workspace solution for the client's regional HQ.

The background

The client is a financial and professional services firm specialising in real estate services and investment management.

Insightful Environments was appointed to work with interior fit-out company Tetris with responsibility for the procurement, project management, delivery and installation of furniture for the client’s new South West regional HQ.

The results

The client wanted to use the relocation opportunity to deliver a space more suited for agile working, providing different settings for people to be able to choose how they work depending on what tasks they are trying to accomplish.

The introduction of different workspace areas, sit-stand desks, quiet rooms and pods – backed up by good technology has now provided the flexibility and choice required.

A client area and business lounge were added with a collaboration zone to encourage cross-fertilisation of teams and ideas and to enable the use of the outside space for internal and external functions. Avoiding the traditional grid-like desk layout has enabled the client to break up the space whilst retaining connectivity amongst its various teams.
