Refurbishment and modernisation of three office floors
Background
In 2016, we were invited to tender for this project to provide furniture consultancy, procurement and installation for a refurb of three floors of this large financial institution’s office in Poole. We were selected on the back of a robust and commercially competitive offer where we had demonstrated the experience of our team and our comprehensive approach to the delivery of the project.
Solution
We managed the coordination, procurement and installation of the furniture package in collaboration with the client project team and main contractor. We responded to the challenge of providing alternative products which had cost benefits, while meeting the minimum performance specification developed by Stride Treglown. We worked closely with the professional team to evaluate the technical and aesthetics aspects of the alternatives in order to ensure that the design vision was protected while working to the overall project budget.
During the installation phase in Summer 2017, we worked very closely with the rest of the project team to manage the disruption caused by delays to the project. The client was delighted with the end results having modernised the building, creating a vibrant and effective place to work for its people.
