ServiceNow is a technology company that offers service management software as a service and includes 75% of Fortune 500 companies as its customers. In 2019, the company’s office in Staines took an extra floor in its building to accommodate its growing number of employees.
After being successful in tendering for both the desking and ancillary furniture packages for the new floor, we were asked to take the original furniture concepts provided by interior design company Maris and value engineer the final selection to a fixed budget without compromising the original scheme.
Working within a tight schedule with only three months until install, IE used its knowledge of the furniture market to suggest and demonstrate alternatives where appropriate that kept to the original scheme and met the budget. We then developed the detailed finishes schedule, holding finishes workshops with ServiceNow and Maris to agree the final selection.
After updating the layout plans with the details of the final furniture selection, we coordinated closely with the AV contractor to ensure that power was available in all the right places.
Our team worked closely with the 28 different furniture suppliers that were chosen to ensure that orders were placed to enable delivery to meet the tight schedule.
The finished space now provides a vibrant new office with a greater selection of setting types to meet the needs of different types of work.
We worked closely with IE to ensure our design concept was not compromised and they worked within our budget and timeline parameters to achieve a great result.
