Refurbishment of key shared spaces at the London HQ with a focus on collaboration

IE has been working with Omnicom and its agencies for 15 years and was recently appointed as the furniture provider for the refresh of shared spaces at their London HQ, Bankside which houses 4,000 people from more than 40 agencies within two linked buildings.

The refurb covered Building 2 and 3 receptions, atrium and 7th Floor which incorporates a café, restaurant, library, events and co-working space.

We worked closely with the client and D&B specialist Tetris to define the best product solutions to create a modern and collaborative community environment. The new layout was designed around agile working, in a modern and innovative workspace that encourages collaboration. Careful planning and communication with the Tetris and client teams during the whole process was key to the successful implementation of this project.

Communicating effectively with the on-site teams and other contractors ensured that we were able to flex our schedule to negate the impacts of any issues that arose and helped the project to be delivered and installed within the agreed timescales.

“Having inspected the refurbishment works at Bankside 2 & 3 with the Tetris project team yesterday, I can honestly say that I was blown away.
The end result is just stunning and it is absolutely due to all the hard work that every single one of you put into making sure that each element is the best that it can be.
I know that when our agencies are finally able to return to the building post-COVID, they are going to love how the space has been transformed and enjoy it for many years to come.”
